This slim-line speaker can be mounted in a variety of helmet types, styles and configurations.
Maximum bass response can be achieved by properly mounting the speaker in a removable cheek pad or full-coverage-style nose section, so that the speaker housing is acoustically sealed into the pad.
Some examples of this are the Shoei Syncrotech flip-front-style and the Arai and Shoei full-coverage-style helmets.
In this configuration, the sound pressure being emited from the back of the speaker housing is not allowed to mix with the sound pressure being emited by the front of the speaker cone toward the ear.
This SINGLE Wide-Fidelity 44mm Slim-Line speaker includes standard J&M modular component speaker wire plug and a 2" diameter pre-gummed Velcro pad is included, to secure the speaker in your helmet.
